EWU’s new Natural and Environmental Science Testing and Teaching Center (NESTT), aiming to be one of the first Public Institutions in the Northwest to target the Living Building Challenge, is striving to reconnect the emergent generations of the surrounding rural community with their roots. With building and site as a dynamic, living interpretive and teaching tool, the Center delivers actionable, accessible answers to questions such as ‘where does my food come from’? Join us in this interactive session as we explore these notions and push the boundaries of how we perceive our own environment and communities around us.
